"Prepare to pig out"

Films: Pig Hunt (2008)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Forest/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average rhino.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: It seems that every time a boar is going to appear on this site, it's going to be the scariest thing in nature. And why not? It has the conventions of an herbivore, yet possesses the weaponry and teeth better suited for a carnivore. And sometimes, the violence of these titan pigs is condoned and even worshipped...

History: Deep within the Californian woodlands, there is a hippie cult that's dedicated their lives to serving and sacrificing to a monstrous boar known as the Ripper. Anyone unfortunate enough to come even for a simple hunting trip is bound to get caught up in all sorts of insanity around these areas. But in the end, all of the madness keeps coming back to the fabled Ripper.

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: When the survivors are about to be sacrificed to the Ripper, the lead hippie is gored instead, and the beast itself is stabbed via crossbow dart through the throat and eventually the brain, killing it. One young member of the cult is still alive, angrily clutching a loose tusk. Pigs to man, man to pigs...impossible to tell which was which...

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though the Ripper's attention will instantly go to whoever blows a specific instrument designed to sound like a pig's squeal.

Scariness Factor: 4-We barely see what most of the Ripper looks like, but perhaps you want to be thankful for that. What we see is a titanic, malformed, homicidal pig with more teeth than it actually needs and a constant backlighting of red. Oh, and its right half seems to have horrific growths on it for some reason. Is this thing even natural at this point?! Maybe death was a blessing for it.

Trivia: -This was the last film directed by Jason Isaacs before his death in 2012. He was previously a director and a special effects supervisor, so the Ripper looking so good makes perfect sense.

-Wild boars have a history of being credible threats to people due to their awful tempers and strength. However, most only occur when the boars are in heat, so it really shouldn't come as a surprise.
